About Me

I'm a photographer based in Cuenca, Ecuador, where I live with my husband and our three kids. I'm drawn to the outdoors and to travel, and I'm happiest when the two come together, a feeling that strongly influences how I see and photograph the world.

Family, connection, and tradition are at the core of both my personal life and my work. I believe photographs are most meaningful when they reflect real relationships and everyday moments.

Ecuador has been part of my story for a long time. I met my husband here while working on my master's degree, and we lived in Quito and Santo Domingo from 2012 to 2018 before moving to Sacramento, CA with my husband and our first child. We lived in there from 2018 until July of this year, when we made the decision to return to Ecuador, this time to Cuenca, in search of a calmer pace of life for our family of five. Being back has meant starting over,, and that process of putting down roots in a new city has shaped how I want to show up in my work here: present, connected, and genuinely part of the place I'm photographing.

When I'm not photographing clients, you'll usually find me outside exploring with my kids or at home trying to keep up with the whirlwind of family life, which can sometimes feel like a WWE arena. I love good coffee (even when it's gone cold), sunsets, and a good full belly laugh.

I'm naturally observant, paying close attention to details that others may overlook - the subtle movement of light, a quiet gesture, the way a moment unfolds naturally. This attentiveness shapes my approach to photography. Every element within a frame matters, from composition and light to the connection between the people being photographed.

Whether I'm photographing families, couples, or environments, my goal is to create images that are both visually intentional and emotionally meaningful. I focus on capturing moments that feel honest and timeless, images that invite you to look a little closer and notice what might otherwise go unseen.

Finding beauty in the small, everyday moments is central to how I approach both photography and life. Through my work, I aim to preserve those moments in a way that feels artistic, natural, and true to the people in front of my camera.
